Another lousy night of sleep, too many panic attacks, and I'm too tired to deal with any of it.

Historians are trying to figure out the first civilization to use cement, but they couldn't find anything concrete.

8 years ago today there was a tremendous blizzard that closed down I 95, the NJ turnpike, buried and paralyzed much  of the east coast.

And my Daddy died.

I"m not sure which I like better: pug's paintings, or the titles of her paintings!

But the very first one I ever got from her was also a closing night thank you gift for being in a show (but I forget which one ::) ):

I would call that one "Cabbages and other roughage in the night".

I slept excruciatingly well!

I also dreamed.

One dream yielded a name or title or nonsense phrase:  Fluvy Mas.

I do not know, other than it was on a tombstone.  And before you ask, I was engaged in a genealogical discussion with a 5th cousin on the phone last night and we were talking about where some of our ancestors are buried.

Fluvy Mas is a name that never came up, so it's either something from beyond attempting to enlighten me, or it's just a bit of dream nonsense.

It might be an interesting character name in a book, however.

On a whim, I looked up Fluvy Mas and found this in the Urban Dictionary as a definition of "fluvy":

1. An oblivious person that believes he/she is favored by all , but fails to realize that everyone is sick of his/her presence.

2. Fails to realize that no one likes them.

Does that definition remind anyone of any individual?   Add the Spanish word mas. meaning more or most, and it seems "Fluvy Mas" is a very obnoxious, unenlightened, self-asborbed individual who thinks the world loves him.

I can only blame myself for tuning in to MSNBC to see how the New Hampshire primary went.

The best fried chicken I ever had, and I have said this consistently for years, was made by Skip Kennon for an HHW gathering many moons ago.

I just read that to Skip!  That's really appreciated!

He’s not like 5 feet tall, just like 2 feet. And soft. Might be able to scrunch him in a bag.

If you just put it in a shopping bag, would it be easy for one of you to just carry it on?

I slept OK. Thunder did wake me a few times. The rains seem to have stopped now. And sunlight is creeping into the room.
