We spent the morning at The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, OSMI.  The current exhibit, Staying Alive: Defenses of the Animal Kingdom.  My favorite was watching the sloth.  There was someone in his large enclosure taking him for a "walk".  She would encourage him to move several inches at a time bribing him with a treat, very entertaining.

At noon we went to the Big Bird show at the little planatarium at OSMI.

We also walked through the AIDS Memorial Quilt show.  I noticed boxes of kleenix on a couple of the benches so I gather it can be very emotional for some.  Fortunatey it was empty when we were there since the little one was with us.

We drove over to 23rd street and had a delicious lunch at Top Burmese.  Now I know where to eat when we are there.

We walked over to the The Freakybuttrue Peculiarium and Museum.  I had no idea how much fun we would have.

There were machines where you put quarters in and a little plastic container drops out with little toys or charms inside.  Inside of one were little charms and other things, plus a fortune.

The first line on the fortune said "Stay away from Republicans" :))

I was wearing my Bernese Mt. Dog pin today.  Freyja wanted to wear it.  I think she wanted to keep it but I took it back.

I had though so but we only walked about 2 miles.  There was a lot of standing and sitting.

I have been enjoying the score of How to Dance in Ohio over the past few days. Lots of vocal harmony.

Thanks for the clarification, DR Jane.

Berenese Mt Dog owners sometimes wear t-shirts that say:
From Berne, not Burma
Not a Saint (as in Saint Bernard)

Peter Navarro, former advisor to 45, sentenced to 4 months in prison for obstruction of Congress.

It's a start.
