I keep getting emails about Amazon openings. Is that a euphemism?

I miss seeing my school friends everyday - and riding the school bus with them.

Eye checkup went splendidly, and I go back in a month for a quick follow-up with one of the other doctors there, as my own doctor/surgeon will be out on her maternity leave.

This is one thing I do not miss. The bus ride made me car sick every single day.

My friend Brian has filed a motion with the Supreme Court to not allow DJT on the ballot for the Republican Primary in that state - where he lives.

It is a compelling argument if anyone wants to read it.

The sun is shining here for the first time in a couple of weeks.  Just in time to admire our freshly painted living room ceiling (just where it was repaired last month).

I was usually ok on the school bus, not so much on regular public transportation.  I did more walking to and from school than riding the bus.

I'm sure these petitions will all make their ways up to the Supreme Court, and hopefully, they'll take up the case and decide quickly!

Interesting - I did another global em dash search - same as yesterday - today it finds 368 hyphens that should be em dashes. It took seven minutes to change them.

That is a document in favor of the Colorado case that is before the US Supreme Court now.

Brian's case in North Carolina has not been decided on yet.

Yesterday I discovered a minor leak under the sink in our main bathroom.  The guy who was here to fix that was aghast at our 25-year-old water heater, so a new one is being installed as we speak.  Seems that could have been done during the 5-month renovation, but we’ll take it.
