And the play is done!

I shall do some F'ing and F'ing to it tomorrow and get it formatted correctly.....

And it turned out okay.  It's not what some folks will expect on the subject - but I think it is a unique look at a person usually portrayed in another way.

TOD

I loved the freedom of playing outside with friends until it got dark.
Riding bikes, listening to records at homes of friends, deciding last minute to have dinner at a friend’s home because they were having spaghetti….so much freedom, lack of fear, close friendships with all of our neighbors.
So glad that there were no cellphones or social media when I was growing up.

Freedom and riding my bike were the first things I thought about.

He did sign up for it. It did work. And he felt really good for several weeks. But ultimately it was an unrelated problem that he couldn't overcome.

I just discovered this beautiful poem by Michael Joseph:

Gorgeous. And sad.

Roundabout Theater’s new season was announced today. It includes:

“a new jazz-infused, New Orleans-style production of The Pirates of Penzance by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, adapted by Rupert Holmes, choreographed by Warren Carlyle, directed by Scott Ellis.”

Should be great fun.

Good evening.

How is it that today is the first day of February?

I cannot believe the year is already one month old!

I have a much-needed haircut appointment in the morning.

It has been about six weeks since my last shearing.

I am looking forward to it very much.  Tired of having cowlicks and pillow hair.

"Cowlicks and Pillow Hair" should be the title of something.
