I’ve been trying to catch up on all manner of things, including the Accumulation. Not much success, I’m afraid. All these little tasks that I think will take only 5 minutes? One leads to another and, “Oh, that needs to be done, too.” It’s endless. Sigh.

Today it rained and I always feel lazy on rainy days. I’ve been busy all day, though.

And the play is done!

I shall do some F'ing and F'ing to it tomorrow and get it formatted correctly.....

And it turned out okay.  It's not what some folks will expect on the subject - but I think it is a unique look at a person usually portrayed in another way.

Very good!

Eye checkup went splendidly, and I go back in a month for a quick follow-up with one of the other doctors there, as my own doctor/surgeon will be out on her maternity leave.

Glad to hear things are progressing smoothly.

Yesterday I discovered a minor leak under the sink in our main bathroom.  The guy who was here to fix that was aghast at our 25-year-old water heater, so a new one is being installed as we speak.  Seems that could have been done during the 5-month renovation, but we’ll take it.

Better now than even later!

The original water heater in our house lasted 40 years. The replacement only lasted 10.

My current water heater is a little over 17 years old it's still working quite well.

This also would be Kerry's birthday. I took him an Oreo cake on his last birthday.

Yum!

He did sign up for it. It did work. And he felt really good for several weeks. But ultimately it was an unrelated problem that he couldn't overcome.
