Going to the store in a bit.....then I will F & F.....and later tonight I may do my taxes.

I know I've missed something along the way, but this is the second reference in as many days to you F-&-F-ing.

Does that stand for "fold and fluff"?  Or vice-versa?

Andrea McCardle in FOLLIES.

I am reticent - oh yes I'm reticent.

I wouldn't be.  I love her voice, and would really like hearing her sing "Broadway Baby".

DR Jrand73, I'm curious about your play. When will there be a reading?

Congratulations on finishing it.

Taking nothing away from a bunch of I’m sure talented people putting on a show, I believe the PR-team is overstating how “iconic” that slate of Follies performers is.

Started listening to the latest revival cast recording of Merrily. The overture to that show on the original vinyl was electrifying. This one is synthetic and lifeless.

Then Lindsey Mendez sings Like It Was and I was in tears. It’s possibly my favorite Sondheim song and she nails it.

Daniel Radcliffe’s Franklin Shepherd Inc. is rock solid. You can feel all of Charley’s frustrations.

She was wonderful as Helen in the Encores! rather s0-so production of The Golden Apple.

McArdle is supposedly playing Hattie - who is supposed to be in her 70s or more - that is the entire POINT of Broadway Baby. But this "director" thinks it's cute to have McArdle do it. He clearly has no understanding of the material. Read the blog about the first rehearsal - on ZOOM for heaven's sake, with not one of these well-known people in attendance and not even the full cast. How can this be anything but a fiasco? I don't recall the characters of Ghost Comedian 1 and 2, nor do I recall their being demolition people. I wonder if the licensing company knows they're making these idiotic additions?

Yes, I miss the Kritzerland shows, but I'm not doing anymore until we have a permanent home - not going to club hop nor are there any clubs left to hop to.

Friday afternoon greetings!  Richard is at the National Ukulele Day sing-along here on campus, but I opted to stay home and make a meatloaf for tonight’s dinner.
