Do first labors habitually go more quickly or slowly? I have no idea. Perhaps there is no pattern.

Watching a short on the making of Hitchcock’s Lifeboat. Apparently star Tallulah Bankhead didn’t like wearing underwear, which was causing problems for the assistant director. He went to Hitchcock and asked him to deal with it. Hitchcock, according to his daughter, said no, because he couldn’t tell if that fell under the purview of wardrobe or hairstyling.

Yesterday was the first day pff the decongestant and last night I slept all the way through. So wonderful.

We did get rain. My rain gauge fell to the ground, which sometimes happens when there's lots of wind. But the ground is very wet.
