Last night, I played Phase 10 at my mom's as usual, but what was not as usual was that I won one of the games!  That was nice. :)

Amazing how many Sondheim musicals are competing against each other in the Robby Awards this year.

ELAN MCMAHON AWARD FOR BEST MUSICAL DIRECTION
Andy Einhorn, Sunday in the Park with George
Brad Ellis, Follies
Alby Potts, A Little Night Music

How does one choose?

I choose Alby Potts because a) he's great and b) he's done many Kritzerland shows. I'm actually presenting that award.

But my intuition tells me that one of the Sondheim musicals will win  both for Best Musical and
For Best Musical Direction.

I slept fine until 2:00 when I was awakened by the sounds of Annabelle coughing up a hairball next to me.

I had a nice solid sleep, thankyouverymuch. I woke up from some fairly nondescript dream which I guess there’s no reason to think upon.

And apparently in sympathetic vibrations with Annabelle, I, too, woke to the sweet dulcet sounds of a hairball being produced. Here’s the thing, though — this hairball’s whereabouts are as yet unknown.

There is such a thing as a ghost hairball, and that may be what we’re dealing with here. But just in case… Watch your step, everyone!

Yesterday we watched a crew install a new roof on the house directly across the street.  They’re back today working on another house we can see from our living room.
