George, it seems I do have glaucoma. So, I can no longer stare at a screen for eight hours a day. It was good to retire when I did. Baking doesn’t require looking at a screen, so it is resting my eyes.

The treatment is one eyedrop in each eye, every single night for the rest of my life. If I forget one night, I must take it in the morning.

Thank you. Screen time is about the only real adjustment. Glaucoma is very treatable these days. Unlike before.

Oh, John! I'm sorry to hear this, but it seems glaucoma is a risk for folk of a certain age.
