There could be some weather moving in on Monday or Tuesday, but again it's quite likely that we'll just get rain around here.

I had every intention of going to Sam's Club this morning.

I went to bed at 11 p.m. just so I'd be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to drive to Aiken and get there just after the store opens (10 a.m.).

When I awakened at 6:15 a.m., it suddenly occurred to me that this is Thursday that it's MORE than that....it's CUBED STEAK THURSDAY at the Triangle Restaurant. I LOVE their cubed steak.

Instead of getting up and doing ablutions, I crawled back under the covers and slept until 10 a.m.

I am a slug-a-bed!

Dreamed terrific (and forgotten) dreams.

And it's nearly 11 a.m. now, and that is when the Triangle starts serving!

I received a phone call yesterday evening from Ms. Nellie Gunter inviting me to a Seniors Luncheon at the First Baptist Church on February 14th.

It is not a pot-luck, either. Food is being provided by the Seniors Fund.

I am free (as of now) of any and all engagements, be they medical, familial or otherwise.

I look forward to it!
