Our first shingles shot was immediately painful, not because the woman didn't care but because she wasn't as skilled as others.

Hi, Jane.

Yes, I did feel the earthquake last week. It wasn’t subtle.

Presidents Day evening greetings!  Sorry to have been absent here - we had a busy weekend.

On Saturday I went to a memorial service here in our community for an AAUW friend who died at the age of 91.  Richard went to Connersville, Indiana, for the funeral of the infant daughter of one of his clergy colleagues.  It was a rather somber day for us.

Sunday morning we were on the road to the boonies (Ansonia, Ohio) for Fr. Richard to do the service at Darke County Anglican Church.  Glad we do have to do that every week!

This morning I went to an exercise class at the “Q,” our nickname for the Quisno Wellness Center here in our community.  No relation to the sandwich shops.

In any case the guy who did this was quite brusque and ungentle

Went to the mail place and picked up two irritating envelopes that went directly into the trash unopened and a small package containing the two-CD set of the Michel Legrand musical Amour (as it was called here). It sounds VERY different to the American cast album - this one's a live recording, I think. Or maybe it isn't.

The Cheesecake Factory finally brought back the spicy chicken on rice with cashews thing, but they've completely ruined it with snow peas and mushrooms and some red stuff. It was perfect before and it isn't anymore.

It was pretty tame, but I’m feeling it tonight.  There’s the Monday class at 11am and a Wednesday class at 9am.  I’m more like to make it on Mondays than on Wednesdays.

9:00 is a bit early.  How long is the class?

George, does your new cookware inspire you to do more cooking?

Not yet. ::)

And does it match your kitchen decor?

No, and that is never a consideration for me. :)

Mine was not very painful, at all.

I didn't have it, so I've just ordered ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY. It sounds irresistible.
