I like Canadian McDonalds
In n Out
I’m a sucker for KFC

On the other hand, A&W is big in Canada and I have not found it special.

I romanticize a long-defunct chain from my youth called Burger Chef.

I remember a terrific Bun N' Burger across from where I worked, on 7th Avenue very near Macy's in the 1970s.  I think it was a chain.

From DR Rodzinski:

Quote
“Once the primary is over, the Democrat party will give delegates to every candidate who gets at least 15 percent of the vote. The more votes they get will determine how many delegates they receive.”

Probably best for me to stick Dem and max out Joe’s delegates.

Aren't those delegates only for the Dem convention, not for the November election?

I'm hosting a meeting this afternoon. So far I have baked banana bread, brownies, and two dozen cookies that I am going to decorate.  Only about 15 people in this group, so that should be enough. I hope.

Yum.

Good morning!

It is a beautiful day here in Johnston SC.  The skies are clear and very blue, the sun is bright, and the temperature is 54.  Our low was 32, and tonight should get us down to 29.  Otherwise, the day, and days ahead, look to be quite pleasant.

Lovely.

I have been sleeping so very well.

I turned my mattress three days ago.  That was the first time in more than six months.

It does make a difference!

Interesting.  Do you turn it every six months?

I self-administered my second Dupixent injection last night.

There was some soreness about an hour afterward, but this morning there is no pain and no itchiness, so all seems well.  I can feel the difference in my breathing and sleeping because of the medication.

Wonderful news!

I stalled at 4.4 pounds since the beginning of Lent. Nothing more for the last couple of days. I'm sure you all want to know that.

Hugs, stalling is very frustrating.

While I have eaten at fast food places, especially when the boys were young, I don't crave a single one and only stop to use the restroom when traveling.

Finishing up House of Odysseus, a feminist retelling of what happened to Penelope while her husband was at war. Thoroughly enjoying it. Menelaus is portrayed as a pompous ass. Penelope is wonderful. Helen is both dizzy and sly, depending on the situation.

TOD:

Burger King
White Castle

I use coupons for both.

Around here the Burger Chef became Hardee's......which was no an improvement.

I remember Burger Chef from 1960s Florida, but I remember nothing at all about the food. I do know we ate there, at least a few times.

Did anyone have Red Barn? We ate there, too, and I guess we liked it. I seem to think the fries were shoestring, and that they featured fried chicken as well as burgers. That was in Florida, too, but the last one I saw was in Cincinnati, on Vine (I think), below the campus. That would have been around 1970.
