Thanks for the movie repor DR RON PULLIAM.

I have seen neither The Fabelmans NOR 1917.....but both sound interesting & entertaining.  I did like Banshees....

I also have not seen the remake of All Quiet On The Western Front which hopefully will turn up on one of my cheapskate services sooner or later.

The pistachio blondies were a big hit.

Did you get a taste?

No. I gave up carbs for Lent.

The poor minister doesn't have enough leftovers to take home to share with his children. Just enough for him to eat today.

I expect his children were disappointed :)

He doesn't tell them about it.

They gave me that for dental surgery.

My question for ASK BK DAY:

I know you don't live in the neighborhood now, but have they started demolition of Television City yet?

I haven't been down that way in a while - I'll check.

I leave the leftovers for the minister so he'll like me best.
So far it is working.

Smart thinking, Laura. ;)

Isn’t every day Oreo Cookie Day?

But, of course!  I actually have some Oreos in a ziploc bag in my fridge (portion control), and a whole (as yet unopened) package in my pantry. ;D

Well - the king comforter, the full size top duvet, the four pillow cases, the light coverlet, the king flat & fitted sheets and the twin spread from the guest room are now sparkling clean and put back in place.

I used Gain Flings and they worked really well even in COLD water.  About 20 minutes to wash - so we went across the street for an omelet breakfast......then another 20 minutes to dry so we went shopping at OLLIE'S - I had my 10% off coupon.

And now I am dressed and ready to head out to Physical Therapy in about 15 minutes.....

I could use one DR LAURA's pistachio blondies.

So, DR Laura, it's the cookie plot to get yourself into Heaven? I'd need more than cookies.
Me, too, DR ELMORE....probably the whole damned bakery.

Ditto! ::)

I am quite vexed by Indiana University. I have waited seven hours for someone to respond or come to my aid so I can hear yesterday's rehearsal. I just sent a rather frustrating email about the situation along with a suggestion that the pianist, a slight Asiangirl, be replaced by someone with balls. I need an aggressive Broadway player who plays Gershwin's Concerto in F one night and a jazz ensemble the next.
