Like in olde Roman times?

I'm still hoping someone does "Ancient Grease" for Rydell Senior Living communities.

On my local noon news, one of our Indiana congresswomen was interviewed and she certainly heard a completely different speech than I heard last night......if so many people didn't think the same way - it would be funny.

Instead it is sad and scary.

I was quite proud of myself, generally if I open a sleeve of thin mints I empty a sleeve of thin mints

Right there is the reason I now donate cookies vs buying them for me ;D  Congrats on not eating an entire sleeve at once.

Why is March 8th Oregon day?

NATIONAL OREGON DAY - March 8 - National Day Calendar
Founded in 2017 by National Day Calendar® to celebrate Oregon as the 33th state to join the Union. National Day Calendar is committed to celebrating every aspect of our nation's diverse culture and history, which is why we proudly introduced National State Days.

Not much of an answer to the the why.  IMHO it should be on February 14th.

I am currently reading a book that I was first in the hold queue before the book was released, The Hunter by Tana French.  I love when I am first for a favorite author.

Not having an exciting life comes in handy when an email notification arrives that a book is available to put a hold on it.  If my life were exciting I wouldn't be home to go staight to Libby to place the hold-lol

Been listening to Melissa Errico’s Sondheim in the City album. I am enjoying most of it very much. I especially like her versions of Dawn, Anyone Can Whistle and Good Thing Going.

I’m not too fond of the way she pronounces “mizz rubble” for miserable.

First or second on that one doesn't really matter.  I already know that I will likely wait to read it.  We will be in Ireland and I might want to read that while traveling when I will have little time to read.

It looks like it will be another six weeks before I can finish the book I accidentally returned.

This afternoon I watched the opening night cast rehearse. They were very good, but I'm still not much of a fan of classical ballet beyond Tchaikovsky.

I had a very strange dream last night in which there was an Evil Force controlling people through mirrors.

I was in a room with a drum table with a mirrored surface. I was doing pretty well avoiding the mirror, but then I noticed that the table was starting to dip and bend toward me...

And then I woke up.

For pity's sake!  What on earth makes you think my intentions were evil?
