Poor Things for makeup & hairstyling. No love for Bradley Cooper's nose.

That "Oppenheimer" juggernaut seems to be dissipating somewhat.  There is still picture, actor and director to come, but I never felt "Poor Things" would score so many Oscars.

Da'vine Joy Randolph for The Holdovers. I approve.

So do I.

Yup. And I love the blond locks.

Billie Eilish was fine but not my favorite vocal style. I liked it better in the movie than on its own.

It was breathy and gentle and slowish for me.  I understand it's a slight favorite, so I'm a bit underwhelmed at what the rest will be like.

I can't take any of this seriously when Academy members could not be bothered to watch Are You There God, It's Me, Margaret. Had they, I believe it would be up for any number of awards.

Really? Isn't it I'm Just Ken? But they may split the Barbie votes.

I find it fascinating about production design when it's mostly CGI.
