Want to feel Irish? Here's Victor Herbert's orchestral medley from his 1917 Irish comic opera Eileen, from the recoprding I made in Dublin in 2011.

I was just about to post this (without the corrections ::) ) last night:

And since tomorrow today is St. Patrick's Day, this is the shirt that I wore last tonight:

Great shirt, George!

Today is also St Gertrude's Day, patron saint of cats and a very holy item in our household.

Nice! A double celebration.

Happy Sunday, all y'all.

It's Saint Patrick's Day around the world.

Even here in Johnston SC where the geese are suddenly noisome and fussing amongst themselves.

Someone must have spiked the pond.

Purdue lost by a point yesterday - so not much of basketball interest to me today....

Last night the Timberwolves played in Utah and so many players were out that Luka Garza actually got onto the floor....several rebounds and 9 points.

They may play Utah again today - I forget what they said....we shall see.
