As for the rehearsal, I have such a crush on the conductor Marzio Conti. He is so good with the students; he's very patient but he can be stern, but he's always charming and very sure of what he wants from the players. And the players make beautiful music from my scrawl, so I'm very happy.

I want to have lunch at Roma Deli. I’m just not quite sure how I can fit that in with rehearsals back here at 2:30 and 6:30. Yes, dear DRs, it’s another two-rehearsal day, and the second one is providing food beforehand. Today it’s to be a baked potato bar which will be my first time at such a thing. May the toppings be good and plentiful.
DR George - you really do look fetching in that frock!
I just learned that pianist Byron Janis has died at 95. I don’t know about his entire career, but he’s featured on a few exceptional Mercury and RCA recordings that are without equal in terms of both performance and recording quality.
Those were really enjoyable pancake house photos last night, George!

He was writing a version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and I cannot remember who brought me onto the project. He was pompous and arrogant. I left the project when he told me Jonathab Tunick would orchestrate. I was just arranging his scrawl.

Eye exam vibes for BK!
I'm down almost 12 pounds since giving up carbs for Lent. I'm sure you all want to know that.
I am seeing my urologist tomorrow, and I would not be surprised if I were hospitalized for tests. I no longer think the problem is high blood sugar, so I'm a little scared.
Luckily, I have today's orchestra rehearsal to look forward to and occupy my mind.

I finally had my skin cancer removed today. Because of the location I will be reducing my exercises the next couple of weeks until the stitches are removed. No long fast strides when I walk.
Back from the eye doctor, about which more later. Basically, the double vision thing can easily be corrected with a prism lens for the right eye. But the doctor is more interested in the WHY of why this happened suddenly and wants me to have some tests first.
Seeing a new dentist tomorrow. Had to fill out forms that took 30 minutes. Yikes.
Seeing Pilobolus as an audience member, not usher, tonight. I love this dance company.
The rehearsal was quite good tonight, and the orchestra is playing the score very nicely.
Make this for me, please. Anybody?https://heartofabaker.com/peanut-butter-chocolate-pie-with-rice-krispies-crust/
Had two low-cal hot dogs for the evening repast.
