From Vixmom:

The Vixter always had a dreamcatcher in her room, I thought perhaps they would like one for Vixson

That sounds like a perfect gift.  I wish you had taken a photo.

DR Vixmom as far as I know, unless the suggestion has changed, i the CDC does not recommend getting the RSV at the same time as a covid vaccination.  You might think about only having the RSV since you just had covid anyway.

Since she graciously gave me a $200 senior discount,  the new specs cost  “only” $899.00

LOL, thank goodness for that discount.

Lots of flooding in the roadways, though nothing impassable yet

I'm glad you are home before it becomes impassable.

Here's a link to the full article, which should not be behind the paywall:

Thanks for posting the link, DR singdaw! I've already had a congratulatory phone call from London!

Very nice article, Larry!  May the ballet's upgrade bring you great success!

It is a somewhat sunny Saturday here in the CSRA.

We had rain most of yesterday and a little this morning, but the sun shines right now.

I took a look at my calendar for next week, and I have to jump for joy that there is NOTHING on it in the way of medical appointments.  Only an Easter Sunday lunch with Butch and Sharon at Pine Ridge.

Just for fun I looked at April.  The entire month is CLEAR!   That must mean I have forgotten to write something down.  I don't generally have an open month.  Time will tell.

TOD:

Capital News - 1990 - MTM Enterprises produced. ABC aired 13 episodes before cancellation.  Starred Lloyd Bridges, Michael Woods, Mark Blum, Helen Slater and Daniel Roebuck

The Associates - 1979 - ABC aired 9 of its 13 episodes before cancelling.  It fell victim to ABC manipulating its schedule to retain its top ratings.  It moved "Mork and Mindy" and lost ground.  Returning "Mork" to its original slot, it never recovered its audience as CBS shows captured a larger audience.  Despite glowing reviews, "The Associates" was cancelled without ever having a chance.  It starred Wilfrid Hyde-White, Martin Short, Alley Mills, Joe Regalbuto, Shelley Smith, and Tim Thomerson.  It was nominated for two Emmys.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  We frittered this past week away with errands and appointments and such.  Both of my book groups met, too - one Thursday evening and the other Friday at noon.
