After March 30, only one of the performances will remain on the site for some time. I've seen the Saturday night cast and tonight's cast rehearse, but I'm watching all three performances.

I have a silly question for you New-Yawkers.

I have the MTA senior half-price metrocard, but I also had set up an OMNY account a few months back, for (I believe) just tapping a credit card. It just happens that I haven't used either since I set up the latter, so which thing do I use now in the subway? - or does either one work? Both accounts show as active on the respective websites.

Today my friend Pam celebrates her 70th birthday. Last night the fun got started with a trip to a ranch outside Austin. She hired a limo bus to transport a total of eight of us. We drank a magnum of Champagne along the way and she brought some cheese and crackers for all of us.

After some trouble finding the place — three people separately using Waze had three separate directions— we finally found Ranger Cattle Ranch. Josh, the owner, is a former Army ranger, who raises cattle in Austin, Australia, Chile and Wales. It’s all a type of Waygu beef.

Once a few bottles of wine were opened, we went out and toured the ranch. They are in the middle of artificially inseminating the cows, and since the bulls don’t come into contact with the cows, the cows in heat apparently hump each other. Lesbian cow sex. The things you learn.

We went around and got up close with some of the bulls. Then we headed back to the house where Chef Drew was preparing dinner for us.

In addition to chips and salsa, hr made an amazing queso with flank steak. He followed that with toast pieces covered with steak tartare.

He asked it he could serve dinner family style, which we were all okay with. Next came grilled beef tenderloin finished off with butter and served with a medley of grilled corn, peppers and asparagus.

We were to eat all of that with our fingers.

The next platter had grilled flank, tritip and skirt steak, all simply seasoned and finished off in butter.

The last entree was called pot roast and served in a huge skillet with mashed potatoes. It was more like an ox-tail stew, which a personal favorite. The mashed potatoes only had heavy cream, butter and salt added, and they were excellent.

Dessert was a huge tray of berries, mango and cream whipped with a touch a maple syrup and local honey. We had an aged port to go with that.

And then she said that she wanted to get a picture with Susanne and she asked some guy to take the picture, and it was BK!  When she realized that, she said that she made BK get into the picture, too!
