His partner invited me to take some items from his house to remember him by. After choosing a few pretty things (plus one art item that was odd and totally Kerry), I timidly asked his partner about the Kitchen Aid mixer. I felt bad asking for something utilitarian, but the partner said he had thought about me and had set it aside for me. I use it a lot.

Thanks for sharing this lovely story with a forum newbie.

She of the Evil Eye is already here - earlier and earlier. Must stop that.

I thought she came on Saturdays.

DR CHAS SMITH I thought someone said "Monkey On A Pedestal" was also monkeyed with, so to speak.

The Oriental mistake was very popular with our audiences as well.

Oh, interesting. I'll have to look through that and see what I can find. I haven't heard our gal sing it yet.

He and his wife drive up this morning to visit our Mom, so we're all getting together for dinner tonight

The movie was dreadful. The play was fine.

I have begun watching the BBC mystery series Campion with Peter Davison from the early 1980s. Has anyone watched it? I really like Davison and I'm enjoying it.
