Guy, the actor playing Jack, is 6'8" tall!  So on his knee(s), he's just an inch or so shorter than Danielle, who's playing Marie, when she's standing.

Home from having Thai food with friends. One dish was a pad Thai made with papaya shreds instead of noodles, another was like a Thai version of lo mein, only spicier. There were soft shelled crabs and duck salad and a chicken dish that was odd but okay.

We are going to have to wait two weeks for another Thai dinner together as they're out of town next week.

I need one form that I can't find before I can finish my taxes. I've sent out an email and hope to get an answer tomorrow.

Otherwise it was a quiet day of dancing and gardening.

Got the amaryllis bulbs from this past Christmas planted.

The storm last night brought a new perkiness to the roses I put in the ground yesterday. That's hopeful.

I also managed to get a bougainvillea in a larger pot, which I think will help it. I also have it in more sun.

I can't remember if I posted this, but the water main around the corner from me that broke late last year has broken again. Traffic is now being rerouted through my neighborhood. I live on a dead-end street, so it doesn't come directly in front of my house.

But you add that traffic to the school traffic, and the neighborhood is backed up during school hours.

Very irritating.

Elmore, did you try to get out of your building today?

I need to get some sleep.
