Served pulled pork and coleslaw to the pantry folks today. They ate it.

Furnace fixed, guy just left. It needed a new igniter (or ignition unit, whatever it's called), which happily is covered under my annual service contract.

I'm gonna wear the glasses until Monday - they definitely take some getting used to. Straight ahead vision driving is better. Walking, I have to tilt my head down to have them work. We'll see how it is with TV.

The first time I heard "Meadowlark" with the slow first verse was on the recording of the London Cast Album, which I believe was released in 1999.

I have that recording, also.  There was a release in 1999, but the original vinyl album was released in 1989, according to the listing on CastAlbums.org.  And the first CD release has a 1990 copyright date:

This morning, Doug Fullington and I begin the full score cleanup to correct the wrong notes in the score. I think it will take us about two weeks.

Wow! That's quite the project. But it's all to the good.

I had no idea that something like that would take that long.

New part didn't solve the problem.....could be many things.....so new water heater to be installed Friday....unfortunately I do not have DR CHAS SMITH's warranty.....but I will on the new one.

They would come on Thursday but I have an appt. from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. so they are coming on Friday.

I shall shower at my brother's house.  He lives two doors down the street....however laundry and dishwasher are at a stand still.

I thought the water heater was 9 years old....turns out it is 13 years old.....so time to bite the bullet.

Will you be hit with the upcoming storms?  Best to walk to your brother's for that shower before you can't go outside ;)
