Friday afternoon greetings!  It’s been a quiet week for us as Richard recovers from his nasty cold.  Knock wood, so far I’ve managed to stay healthy.

More get well vibes for Richard and stay well vibes for you.

After saying I would be one of the few Americans to see this, I sat next to a Rufus Wainwright superfan who flew in from Chicago just to see this show. He loved it!

I'm not surprised there is a terminal with his name on it.

I watched a long recap of Dune before we watch the sequel, which is really the second half of the book, tonight.

TOD:

I’m getting back Hitchcock after about a month off. Tonight it’s The Wrong Man, then maybe Suspicion.

Have you watched Juno and the Paycock? I love the play.

I had been cast in a local production of Juno and the Paycock back in 2007, but for reasons that I posted about here, the production never happened.  I think we had a couple of rehearsals, but the fates conspired against us. :-\

DR Laura - perhaps these would be appropriate for an art-themed event?

Mmm...those look good!

Today marks the release of the Lyric Opera of Kansas City's recording of Paul Moravec's opera based on The Shining.

I ordered this from Amazon, but it hasn't shipped yet...and as soon as I ordered it, Amazon showed that no copies were available.  Now, there are copies, but where's my copy?? :-\

Can’t say I liked this. But Radcliffe is good and his arms seem chiseled in marble.

Sorry that had happened, George.  Did you ever find out what made those two actors drop out of the show?

I don't think I did.  I wouldn't have remembered, but I'm pretty sure that I never knew.

Starting The Wrong Man. The suspense is slowly building but is very intense.
