Perhaps there will be an archive recording that someone can share with DR ELMORE.

BK wrote in the Notes about the movie "I’ll just say the ending certainly jerked a few droplets from me."

Certainly a pull-quote for the advertisers if ever there was one!

George, very happy the audience had gotten more lively as the show went on!

Thanks, Freddie!

Fortunately, the actors didn't seem to try to compensate and play funnier...they performed the show that they rehearsed.

George, thanks to both you and to the Theater Olympia for both your likes on that "Viva Max!" memory post!

Thanks also to Rodzinski!

You're very welcome, Freddie!  And to Skip, too!

From DR Jrand:

Quote
I really wanted to play a part so I could dance with Aunt Eller, but I guess that will be confined to choreography nights.

I'm sorry you didn't get a part.

DR singdaw, the trumpet on "You Gotta Get a Gimmick" sounds like Alison Balsom compared to the poor bugler at Windsor Castle.

It’s closing two months early.
Which is about half of its originally scheduled run. Ouch. So we're not in Merrily territory, but I doubt many Americans will be seeing this production. I'm heading over in an hour.

I’m getting back Hitchcock after about a month off. Tonight it’s The Wrong Man, then maybe Suspicion.

If Chastity Bono had married Nicolas Cage ...  (there's a "Moonstruck" shtick somewhere in that)

To say I am dead tired would be a terrific understatement.

So I shan’t say it.

I hope you get some much needed rest.
