Happy Sunday!  The latest Broadway Radio Show episode is up and I am joined by cabaret singer Jennifer Roberts to chat about her upcoming show at the Green Room 42 in NYC celebrating the 100th Birthday of Sheldon Harnick, plus Jennifer treats us to 6 of her favorite Harnick songs!  Check it out:

Or does the world go round and round all on its own?

Sometimes you're happy, sometimes you're sad
But the world goes 'round
Sometimes you lose every nickel you had
But the world goes 'round
Sometimes your dreams get broken in pieces
But that doesn't alter a thing
Take it from me, there's still gonna be
A summer, a winter, a fall and a spring
And sometimes a friend starts treating you bad
But the world goes 'round
And sometimes your heart breaks with a deafening sound
Somebody loses and somebody wins
And one day it's kicks, then it's kicks in the shins
But the planet spins, and the world goes 'round-
But the world goes 'round
But the world goes 'round
Sometimes your dreams get broken in pieces
But that doesn't matter at all
Take it from me, there's still gonna be
A summer, a winter, a spring and a fall
And sometimes a friend starts treating you bad
But the world goes 'round
And sometimes your heart breaks with a deafening sound
Somebody loses and somebody wins
Then one day it's kicks, then it's kicks in the shins
But the planet spins, and the world goes 'round
And 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round
The world goes 'round and 'round and 'round
And 'round!

It is an overcast Sunday morning here in the CSRA.

It's unusually quiet, although some bird is chirping his heart out in a nearby tree.

"But the World Goes Round", lyrics posted above somewhere, is a John Kander-Fred Ebb song written for Liza Minelli in "New York, New York".

The sun is shining here in Indiana so that's good.  We have a freeze warning for tonight.

It is 40 degrees here right now.  And the furnace is running.

Many of the TCM 20th anniversary promos are interesting....at least the first half dozen times you see them.

I enjoy this song a lot.  Didn't realize it was written by Rodgers & Hart.

I was watching an old TCM movie intro on YouTube and it was done by the great Bob Dorian, who I’d forgotten about.

Once I was at an outdoor table on 45th and 9th and saw Robert Osborne getting into a cab. I shouted his name. He looked over, I said “Love you!” and he gave the nicest thumbs up, and got into his car. A cherished mem’ry.

DR George, as soon as I know the ballet is available to watch, I will announce it.

Thanks, Larry!

Out of the 646 times that I've Wordled, that was only the 13th time I've gotten it on the second word.
