Thank you but it's minor compared to others, but it's nice to be able to whine a little sometimes .

A painful ear, and not being able to hear, is something to whine about.

They seem to be a bit better but I really have to live with them now and let my eyeballs adjust to them.

The traditional brisket isn't on the Seder plate itself, but I like that, too.     

My mother never made brisket as far as I remember.  Maybe because she liked it about as much as I do.

And I always love matzoh.

I have a little matzo almost every day.  I use it to help me swalling my vitamins.

Remember how I said that there was a Spectrum charge out of nowhere and that I'd called Spectrum and was told I'd never been charged that amount so we stopped that debit card and I had to wait ten days for the new card and then change all the autopays  and everywhere else I used it? Remember that? So, yesterday, I get an e-mail from Spectrum saying the autopay for the 29.99 charge is scheduled and it has the old card number. Say what? Am I being scammed still?

So, I call Spectrum again and tell them what's what and the guy I'm talking to says the 29.99 IS a legit charge and that it was for the mobile phone, which is a separate department. Apparently I've gotten free mobile on whatever plan they put me on when I switched the phone service and that was for a year and now I have to pay. I was so irritated and asked why the first guy told me it wasn't a real charge, but obviously he couldn't speak for that guy.

Very annoying.

I was switched to the mobile department and I told the nice gal that I'd never been told any of this and that I was originally told the landline was free for a year. And that I'd shut down the debit card needlessly, waited for ten days for a new card needlessly, and opened a dispute for the 29.99 charge needlessly. She felt very bad and gave me a 20 dollar credit and put me on a slightly different mobile plan that will save me ten a month. Then I had to cancel the dispute, which I did.

At least something good came out of this.

This morning I was able to snag an appointment with an assistant at the dermatologist's office.  This time Keith went in with me to me my eyes, and to make sure all 4 of the internal stitches poking through my skin were trimmed.

Fingers crossed they don't do this again while we are traveling.  It is very possible.

Went to the Encino Gelson's and picked up gefilte fish, chopped liver, matzo, horseradish, a little lobster salad, and three egg rolls.

lobster salad is kosher, right?

What is your favorite thing on the Passover plate?

I love the lamb, the charosset, the bitter herbs, the matzoh, the whole meal practically, except for the gefilte fish. A little too gelatinous for me.

I got to do one of my favorite things today: I went to three ethnic markets and looked for fun things to try.

First, at the Eastern European market, I got two cans of soup on sale that promise to be sturgeon soup. We'll see.

At the Indian market, I got some snacks including salt and pepper foxnuts, which, of course, are water lily seeds. (Who knew?)

At the halal Middle Eastern market, I got some weird Lay's chips from the West Indies (far from the Middle East). They also sold a lot of Kirkland products. I wonder if Costco knows.

But I also bought two strange candy dispensers with weird monkeys on them. Think Pez by way of Stephen King.
