I prefer not to sit on my leg anyway, so busy packing and cleaning is good for me.

Been relaxing. In an hour, I'll put gas in the motor car, stop at the mail place, and then be on my way to sup with the Pearls.

I met my cousin Debra today at the Pool Room in Edgefield were we were both meeting her brother (my cousin) Rick and his wife Susan.  They are the folks who had Debra and me to the beach last November.

At any rate, Susan was here for her class reunion at Strom Thurmond High School.  My cousin Butch was also going to be there but did not join us for lunch.

We talked of may things, but you may all be quite surprised that Rick and Susan are QUITE religious in the "far right" way of religion.  They love talking about wonderful things like the Bible Museum and the Noah's Ark project, etc., but they continue to embrace all the evil that is the far right and its anti-Christ leader Donald Trump.

I await their awakening.

On a happier note, Debra was being picked up in front of the pool room by my cousins Becky and Evan Moore, along with their 3-year-old daughter Audrey James and their nearly 2-week-old son Levi Judge.

Rick and Susan had not seen the baby, so we had a nice gathering to end our outing.  Debra and the Moores were driving to Columbia SC to the zoo there (it's on a par with the San Diego Zoo, I'm told).  Becky and Evan are both taking a 3-month maternity leave and are concentrating on family outings.

I told Becky to make sure and show Levi to the gorillas at the zoo.  I asked Evan to take a video if the gorillas take notice of the baby.  I have seen wonderful videos of such encounters in which the gorillas are absolutely enchanted at the sight of human babies.

Susan and Rick went off to their reunion, and I came home and promptely began a nap.

Thank goodness, especially for you, that they feel this way.

I watched the ballet tonight for the first time since March 30. Zoe Gallagher as Pam, the aging star, seems even funnier this time around. I've got a couple of brass mutes to fix, but it was fun to see it again.

It was curious; it was served with both maple syrup and country gravy (both on the side).

I was glad to have tried it, but I don't think I need to order it again.

Of course, it may be better served from a different establishment.
