And the word of the day is: TRIUMPH!

One might almost say...  JUBILATION.

I tasted the leftover red lentil salad from yesterday. What a surprise. I made tabbouleh with red lentils instead of bulgar wheat.

I have been reviewing my colonoscopy prep instructions. At least 3 days before, I have to cut out anything high in fiber, including lentils.

What good is living without lentils?

Living Without Lentils, and its sequel, Life Without Lentils, make for compelling drama.

In today's Zoom chat, we talked of many things...but not of shoes, ships, cabbages or kings.  And forget about sealing wax.

We shared a laugh or two over inconsequential stuff, but we spoke of Monty Python and TV shows like Hennessey and The Courtship of Eddie's Father.  We shared some main theme music from both those shows (Hennessey written by Sonny Burke and Eddie's Father by Harry Nilsson).

We also shared a laugh or four over the Monty Python song "I'm A Lumberjack".

My lunch today was fried chicken, of course, plus macaroni and cheese, mixed greens, and pinto beans with fresh onion bits on top.

It was very good...and there was so much of each that I now have a sufficient amount for supper.
