Apropos of nothing being discussed:

I was going through youtube this morning seeking out some Puccini performances to enjoy.

Since you're doing that, I'll throw in a shameless plug for our Bohème Act II video. I'm the guy in the beige jacket crossing left to right at the start. My wife is in the blue coat with a scarf center stage at the start. The production was set in contemporary (2018) San Francisco:

That seems quite an impressive production!!!

Did you and your wife happen to see Baz Luhrmann's production in San Francisco at the Curran before it went to NYC?  They had three different casts of leads, but I only saw one.

Thanks! It's a low-budget company that punches above its weight class.

Alas we didn't see that production, but the Papageno from our most recent Magic Flute was one of the stars in one of the casts.

Still Crazy… always takes me back to my dad listening to it when he’d come home from work.

Equally wonderful is a song from his lp Hearts and Bones called “Renee and Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After The War.”

This morning I attended a meeting on Zoom, which was nice, because I didn't have to fly to LA yesterday afternoon, stay overnight, attend a long drawn-out meeting because they paid to fly us all out there, and then rush to the airport tonight to catch a flight home.

So one might say that you were looking at the business-end of a Zoom meeting.

It is indeed great that you didn't have to travel.

Last night, a little before midnight, a rowdy drunk (probably a young man) thought it would be funny to break the glass on the fire alarm.  I never fell back to sleep.

I also enjoyed the Paul Simon documentary.

And there is the moment when Simon talks about his mother when she said: "Paul you have a lovely voice.....but Art....Art has the voice of an angel!"

In the documentary, we are told the story of how Mike Nichols gave Art a job in Catch-22 and kept him on location for a much longer time than originally planned  - keeping him from rehearsing and arranging songs for a new S/G album.....and then even afterwards kept Art on the hook promising him parts in other movies.....

I saw Art several years ago when he performed solo at a local venue….he still had the voice of an Angel.

Lucky you.

Apparently, the other day I was dreaming of being at work.

Vixdad said I was talking about title clearance issues.

He tried rubbing my back to help settle me down.

That was sweet of him.

But with only 837, how will you fill up the rest of the time?

Well there’s still the 5 hour video
