Do we need a musical version of Twelve Angry Men? We're getting one.

What?? :o

This was on castrecl. It's fascinating. Adele Astaire's screen test. She sings.

That's really cool!

I recently read a novel about Adele. She's a delight. Her reading is different. But I like it.

Since Adele Astaire is being talked about, maybe I could do a bait-and-switch and reboot my old Adele parody of "Rolling in the Deep."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaZSedG1eNE

I mean, it's now Broadway-related, since Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is a Broadway song now anyway, a big number in "Moulin Rouge."

That's great, Freddie! :D

Someone once asked me, "What page do you not care for out of all the pages?" I replied, "Page seven."

Watching Ball of Fire this morning. I have seen this before and didn’t care for it. I’m loving it today.

Barbara Stanwyck and Gary Cooper are even better here than in Meet John Doe.

BK, have you ever heard Richard Sherman’s “Smash Flops” Lp he did with Milton Larsen? Featuring “When the Hindenburg Lands Today” and “Congratulations Tom Dewey” and other musical disasters.

It’s interesting to see Gene Krupa’s band is integrated. Not common on film back then.
