That was when Alfred Lutter from the movie was still playing Alice's son.

George mentioned the theme from "Angie" yesterday IIRC.  This YouTube is the opening credits from two different seasons, and then the closing credits

Dame Judi Dench has reacted to those "trigger warnings" for sensitive subjects in shows

She says: “I can see why they exist, but if you’re that sensitive, don’t go to the theater, because you could be very shocked"

Looking forward to reading her Shakespeare: The Man Who Pays the Rent, which DR John G. recommended.

Speaking of DR John G., here is how I picture his current accommodations:

I gotta get ready to go to the theeder. It's the op'nin' night of Moon Over Buffalo directed by Diana Canova. I am truly ready for a good comedy, so here's hoping I laugh my ASS off. I know one or two people in the cast so I'll stick around for a bit afterwards. There'll be a li'l par-tay, and course I look forward to saying hi to Ms. Canova again.

I wonder if the writers of the old television show theme songs got paid a flat upfront rate, or if they got royalties.

I suppose it depends on the contract. That old show biz cliche.

This isn't a theme song, but I surely remember seeing this one:

Here We Are digital booklet for the album:

Thanks! Now I'll start listening today instead of waiting for my CD to arrive tomorrow. Which I guess takes us to the TOD. Streaming: Here We Are, preceded by some David Sanborn (RIP).

Not fun was when the power dipped (didn't go completely out - clocks were fine but the computer shut down) so I had to boot up the computer again, but this time everything loaded quickly.

It seems like you had a really lovely trip, for the most part, and I am sure it also great to be home.
