I listened to Here We Are on streaming, and look forward to giving it the full treatment on CD on the main stereo sometime next week. I'll hold off on my opinions until George and others have a chance to listen.

Did anyone here see the premiere? I was in New York when it was playing, but we only had time for one show on that trip and it was Merrily.

I finished my work on the overture around 800; 60 bars was a good cont for the day. Then O lay down and watched MSNBC while I looked up on Google a lead sheet for "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen," which I need for the middle section today.

I got to bed late, and these days I need 9-10 hours in bed, if only to coverthe time I do not sleep because of my aches and cramps. I didn't get out of bed until 7:20 because three cats started letting me know tey wanted breakfast.
