Tuesday morning greetings!  We’re back from a fun weekend in Illinois with Charlotte and Hannah and their dad.  Mama was in Georgia for her cousin’s high school graduation.

We're in the mid-80s today, the high-80s tomorrow, and low-80s Thursday along with the usual threat of post-high-temp thunderstorms on Thursday.

Tonight I have two PP scenes to be blocked....but I'm just standing behind a desk.....

And then after the Act Two run thru - I will stage It's A Scandal It's A Outrage.....and we may accidentally have everyone there.

My brother is coming today to put my shelves up in the closet....and borrow $1500.....to be paid back by December.

Does anybody want to buy a bridge in Brooklyn?

Kitty cleanup is finished. I am going back to work on this number. It is not as good as anything in the wonderful off-Broadway Streets of New York.

That's too bad.

I'm blanking on this -- has the other one been performed in recent years?

Boy, are my eyes itchy these past couple of days.

Allergy season, mainly.

Back around November when I'd gotten my cataract surgeries scheduled for January, I vowed that I would from that moment on be a person who no longer rubs his eyes. It's just good practice anyway, and I'd been bad at it sometimes, but I especially didn't want to compromise the surgeries. So I've done well at keeping my hands away from my damned face these six months, but days like this can be a challenge.

I’m having some allergy symptoms, too.  Maybe from spending 3 nights in a house with a cat…

This one was created by Charlotte Moore for the  Irish Rep years ago.

Scientifically, a raven has 17 primary wing feathers, the big ones at the end of the wing. They are called pinion feathers.

A crow has only 16.

So, the difference between a crow and a raven is really just a matter of a pinion.

I'm worried. Stella is feeling puny again, and I'm unhappy that I cannot at the moment afford to take her to the vet, thanks to the damned IRS and the fucking slow NY Public Library.
