From DR George:

Yes, Jane, the garage door WAS opened (and fairly easily) and we had a great garage sale all around!

Excellent.  I had hoped that was why you didn't report in sooner.

George, I would like to have seen Avery Brooks as Paul Robeson.  Even more, I would like to have seen Paul Robeson as my mother always said he was her favorite singer.

Did we completely eradicate 'ring around the collar' in the 1980s, because I don't hear about it much anymore.

That is because, sadly, they stopped making Wisk.  It really did work, and it was very good at getting paint out of children's clothes, which is the reason I began using it.

Who decides these things?

That is almost what my brother asked when I wished him a happy Brother's Day.  He added one word to the question, "stupid" ;D

From George:

Quote
After the garage sale, I went to the final Saturday night performance of The King in Yellow, and we probably our best audience!  They laughed at everything (that was appropriate to laugh at ;) ), and were quite taken with the show when it went dark.  A very enjoyable performance.

Congratulations!

I don't have one of me or Nathan, but Kristi treasures these memories, especially when he held her hand as she attempted to tell him what his music has meant in her life:

Sweet.  I need you PM me your address so I can mail the Titanic ticket for Kristi.

Thanks DR FREDDIE.

Wonderful photos DR CHAS SMITH!

Great photos and stories in the notes.

I love this moment from the ALS Benefit with Mr. Richard Sherman and Ms. Hayley Mills......Mr. Sherman goes up a bit in the lyrics and Ms Hayley pretends she needs the lyric sheet, too, so goes into his pocket to get it....

I loved this :)

It's raining here, and grey, so today is a big laundry day.

Not grey, however, I need to wash all of the bedding.

I can't remember the last time I felt so ill.

My head feels like it's being squeezed in a vice and the coughing and sneezing is relentless.

So sorry to hear about Richard Sherman.  Such a nice tribute, BK!   I was so lucky to meet him several times, thanks to you.  He signed CD's for both my sister and me.  I told him how we used to sing "The Perfect Nanny" from Mary Poppins and he seemed pleased.

The medley is finished! And just in time, too, since Stella and Thatch are clamoring for their dinners.
