Home from the competition. Exhausted.
Danced well. Was pleased.

I’m officially old. Both nights ended at 11, and that felt way too late for me to be out. Thankfully, it was simply a matter of going from the ballroom to my hotel room.
I don’t have a lot of photos yet. And none while dancing. Hopefully those will come in a few days.
Quote from: Ron Pulliam on June 02, 2024, 06:19:33 AMAs you can decipher from these posts, I did not change my mind about traveling with relatives to Lexington SC to watch a ball game.I did, however, have some exchanges with my cousin Ashley's husband, Clay, over a difference of opinion about Trump's days in court. He was kind enough to point out that the trial was a fascistic sham, perpetrated by hateful individuals with political motives. To wit, he said he knows for a fact that the judge should have recused himself because he violated a New York State law prohibiting judges from making political contributions and that Judge Merchan had done this in support of Joe Biden; He said that Merchan has previously prosecuted cases involving Trump and was, therefore, prejudiced; He said he knows for a fact that Merchan's daughter is involved in political activities determined to prosecute Trump and that Merchan was legally obligated to recuse himself because of this;He further said that one of the people testifying had been a DOJ employee and had left to join a legal team prosecuting Trump and was never a supporter of Trump (which was my original contention about those who were witnesses). I changed the wording in my post saying that the most significant witnesses had been Trump supporters.I suggested that his first two "facts" are more allegations than factual. He declared he learned it all on CNN and could prove they are facts. I suspect Fox News is more likely the culprit of his facts. I demurred from challenging him.So sad
