Monday is here. We are expecting thunderstorms at some point during the day. Oh, joy!
There are many, many...MANY things I need to do around the house. So much time and so little gets done. THAT is retirement, I guess.I am woefully behind on cataloguing my movie and music collections (Blu-rays and CDs, that is). This is a task I must get to soon as it is critical for keeping track of what I have as well as what I wish to let go.Collecting is a feverish passion until you get to a point where you cannot possibly keep up with it! I won't throw anything away, but may give some of it away at some point.
Is Embarrass anywhere near Intercourse or Blue Ball, PA?
Glad to hear that DR GINNY is feeling better.
George, I enjoyed your McDonald's stories from last nights posts!
Most of our pasta cooking comes from recipes in either Marcella Hazan's cookbooks or one by her son Guiliano. She doesn't include a cacio e pepe recipe, so that comes from a David Kinch cookbook. There was also a good YouTube video that got me close before Kinch's more precise quantities helped get me there.

I have not been sitting here like so much fish all afternoon. We went to the library, the framer’s, Target, and Panera. When we got home I promptly zonked out in my chair for an hour. Guess in have some stamina to regain.
I think it is safe to say that "Bravo" was an excellent Wordle yesterday for Keith to get it in two.

It's a terrible show! There are a couple of good songs, but the book is all over the place, there's only one killing which is bad for a thriller, and the leading lady stretches credulity to the point where it screams. I also cringe every time Gwen Verdon speaks because her British accent is patheticI cannot believe all the Tonys it won. I think the only atmosphere was in Reuben Ter-Arutinian's gothic, spooky sets. The composer, Alber Hague, came to the show and tod me he loved my orchestration. I think he was the only one! Albert Hague’s immortality came from The Grinch TV score, not Redhead.

And to paraphrase Bette Midler, I never miss a Sidney Sheldon musical.
