In truth, I probably haven't gone out for a sit-down eggs breakfast since, oh, maybe before the pandemic. So I can't even tell you now what the average NY/NJ/New England diner prices are now. Vixmom can probably speak to that. And hell, I haven't even had a Denny's or IHOP breakfast in that long. Maybe it's about damned time I went out and treated myself.

It is my duty and my pleasure to inform the populace that the gas grill was thoroughly cleaned last night while I was out indulging in the smelling of success. The season will be inaugurated later today with a hot dog or two.

Skip went to the concert last year.  He said it was exceptional!

Peter was the pianist when I presented one of my shows before a panel at a workshop.  The night that the teaching panel was Stephen Sondheim and Stephen Schwartz, Peter knew beforehand that Sondheim would be there that night. (Peter and Sondheim already went way back at that point.)  Peter impishly asked me before rehearsal that day "Are you sure you want to know who's on your panel tonight?" - so that made it clear that Sondheim was going to be opining that night.
