So, my one of my mom's brothers (Norbert) from Germany is visiting with his wife (Beatte...I think that's how it's spelled) for a few days, then they're going to drive to Yosemite National Park, and come back and spend a few days here again, then go up to Vancouver, Canada for a few days, then fly back to Germany from there.

Their son (my cousin) Thomas and his wife (I don't know her name) will be flying in from Portland, Oregon and visit with them for a day before Norbert and Beatte go to Yosemite, then Thomas and his wife will visit here for a few days, then I think they'll go somewhere else before flying back to Germany.

For our late lunch/early dinner, we had a veggie lasagna that my mom got from WinCo (it was pretty darned good), and my mom fried some zucchini and onions and garlic as a side dish (no recipe, she just whipped it up), and garlic bread.

Oh, I don't think I mentioned this, but one VHS tape that I found while deciding which VHS tapes to keep was The Time of Your Life by William Saroyan, starring Kevin Kline and Patti LuPone that was recorded in the 1970s.
