YEARS ago, I got some posters that were printed on both sides so that when they were in light boxes, the colors would be more vibrant with the light shining through the poster paper.

Well, this past week, I found the posters, and it turns out that I had two copies of the same movie poster: Amadeus, advertising the re-release in theaters of the director's cut.

The reason that I got it (them) because I thought that it would be cool to put a reverse printed poster in a frame with the reverse side showing, then putting that on the wall behind a toilet that's facing a mirror so that when you were...<ahem> sitting down

you would see the poster the right way!

I've lived in two places that had such positioning of toilets and mirrors: the very first apartment that I lived in after moving out of my parents' house for the last time (after college), and here, where I've live for almost 18 years.

Anyway, I measured the posters and found that I didn't have any poster frames that big (27"x40"), so I finally hied myself to Jo-Ann Fabrics and got the last (only?) two frames that exact size...and I had TWO posters to put in said frames!

So I had to get off , climb the stairs, cross thecstreet and go down the stairs and go back the other way

Then when I git off tge L at 14th and 8th i had to walk 73 football field lengths (the distance may not be strictly accurate, I am going by what my knees are informing me) to finally get to the A up to Penn

Oh, I almost forgot...after leaving the Pride event, but before going home, I drove through Burger King and got one of their new Bacon Melts (it had a LOT less bacon than the pictures).

When I finally arrived at Penn and madd it to the LIRR area ibdudcovered i had missed my train by about 2 minutes, so I had to wait an hour for the next one

While I was in NYC my friends and I happened across a Pride parade
