You longtime Apple people probably know this, but I've never dealt with iTunes or Apple Music, nor do I care to learn now, so:

What's the easiest way to convert these .m4a files, that someone very kindly uploaded, to something common like .mp3 or .wav?

I use this:
https://online-audio-converter.com

PERFECT! Thank you, DR Elmore.

I'm up, I'm up - maybe five hours of sleep. Up at seven - could not fall back asleep. New cover files have been created by Doug Haverty and have been sent so hopefully there will now be no more delays.

I made it to Costco. It’s not great, but not as bad as I expected.

This past week all of the sage has begun to bloom. There is a riot of purple everywhere. It’s simply stunning.

So is trying to overthrow an election and encouraging an insurrection attempt an official presidential act? Asking for a fiend.

I am praying for a Democrat majority in the House and Senate after the election to investigate these six Supreme Court asses and impeach them. These bastards need to be taken down for good.

Monday afternoon greetings!  I’m taking advantage of some cooler weather and lower humidity to work a bit in our garage.

This is sickening. It's a new Day of Infamy.

The road to here was begun to be laid in November 2016 and was built brick by brick throughout the next four years. I had been thinking in recent months that this decision, basically, was always the ultimate destiny of this court.

Of course it really goes back to when McConnell refused to allow that vacant seat to be filled in Obama's last year.

The mystery woman at the reading gave me the name of an NYC theatre producer she knows and said his father is also a producer.

The name didn't stay in my head.....but if any savvy NYC HHW'ers know of father-son theatre producers you might mention their names and one will  ring a bell.

I emailed her this morning and told her I was distracted for a couple weeks with a play - but that I would send her a digital copy of the play.....which I did.

She now lives in Indy and runs a home renovation business wherein she and her staff come in and make your home a reflection of YOU.....

So since Google was invented for just such a purpose - I looked her up.

She is Lauren Ramsby - former managing editor of The New York Post and before that Deputy Editor of The New York Observer......and she has also been profiled in Vogue Magazine.

And I was talking to her like talking to a neighbor over the back fence.

You never know who you'll meet in Indy.  We shall see what develops, if anything.

Just this past weekend I read Joe Klein’s review of Maggie Haberman’s book about you-know-who.  Here’s his concluding paragraph:

“We can hope that Trump is an aberration, not an avatar, but that would probably be delusional. He has created a brutish new standard for American politics, and put a terrible dent in our democracy. Maggie Haberman has been there for it all. The story she tells is unbearably painful because Trump’s success is a reflection of our national failure to take ourselves seriously. We will be very lucky, indeed, if he doesn’t prove our downfall.”

‘bout sums it up.

A large group of Canadians had fun celebrating this afternoon.  It was rather festive and they decorated their cabin doors :)

I have progressed in the garage to the point of needing help from the maintenance crew to move some shelving.  Richard and I tried to do it ourselves, but it requires more “muscle” than we have put together.
