The mystery woman at the reading gave me the name of an NYC theatre producer she knows and said his father is also a producer.

The name didn't stay in my head.....but if any savvy NYC HHW'ers know of father-son theatre producers you might mention their names and one will  ring a bell.

I emailed her this morning and told her I was distracted for a couple weeks with a play - but that I would send her a digital copy of the play.....which I did.

That's way too vague. Why didn't you ask her to write it down or email it?

Now that the Supreme Court has made its ruling, I think Biden should have Trump assassinated.

Yeah, happy Canada Day. I may need to move there soon.

At least you wouldn't have to move far ;)

Maggie Haberman is an enabler of the worst sort.

And her paper (The New York Times), of late, is almost just as bad.

I don't feel much like celebrating on the 4th.

I know what you mean.

I’m not defending her one way or the other, DR Singdaw, but Klein’s phrase, “…our national failure to take ourselves seriously…” really haunts me.

After two days if incredible tours we are, so far, regretting the one we are on.  If I think the isle on the bus is narrow imagine how everyone else must feel. The seats are also tight. Keith couldn't take it and moved to the row behind to have more room.

That's too bad, Jane. :-\

And the word of the day is: TRIUMPH!

I keep waiting for floccinaucinihilipilification to be the word of the day.

Once in the town of Betanzos we quickly left the tour guide and went off on our own.

That's a good idea. :)

Happy 1st of July!

I need to wish our grandcat, Kitty, a happy 20th birthday.

20 year?  Wow!  That's great! :D

Made it to episode 10 of The Underground Railroad. I still don't remember anything of the book.

singdaw, have you watched the first episode of the new vicar on GRANTCHESTER?

The new star seems promising.  (And they certainly didn't waste any time getting his torso on view for a very long scene!)

Maggie Haberman plays both sides of the fence, and I find her quite obnoxious and dour as an "expert."
