I basically said what elmore said, but responding to someone's Facebook post: Biden, now that the Supreme Court has opened this can of worms, should begin making executive decisions as official acts, with no discussion with anyone - first of all, stack the court and overturn what they just did. Second, remove Trump from the ballot for being a convicted felon - executive decision, no discussion. Let's see how the other side reacts to having a King.

Everything accomplished. Maria just called to say she will be here between 11:30 and 12:30, much later than I'd like. I am not happy about this.

Darn. :-\ I hope it otherwise went well.

On to the James Stewart version of The Man Who Knew Too Much. This is the fourth to the last Hitchcock I have to watch. I have saved some of the best for last.

Now that he's immune, Trump has made a move to get his 34 convictions overturned. Here's the quandary: he wasn't president when he committed those crimes, so is he really immune?

He is obviously not immune in the Stormy Daniels case. He paid her off prior to the win. That's a big fail.

Now to watch a motion picture, as soon as the house cools down a bit, probably in ten minutes.

I’m not defending her one way or the other, DR Singdaw, but Klein’s phrase, “…our national failure to take ourselves seriously…” really haunts me.

For sure, DR Ginny.

singdaw, have you watched the first episode of the new vicar on GRANTCHESTER?

The new star seems promising.  (And they certainly didn't waste any time getting his torso on view for a very long scene!)

Indeed.
