So, I'm at a local hospital's parking lot, after having driven my sister and her former mother-in-law here to see how her daughter (my sister's former sister-in-law and my niece's aunt) is doing after having called the medics due to a medical emergency that she (the aunt) had.

Evidently, she had had an "episode" a few weeks ago, but didn't go to the hospital then.

[George]

She was having some problems last night and this morning, and at least had made an appointment with her doctor.

[George]

But it must've gotten worse, so the medics were called.

[George]

I don't know the details...I can only hope that things will be okay.

My niece's father died when he was only 52.  My niece's aunt (his sister) is only in her early 60s.
