Last night's rehearsal went well.....all tech on deck and of course costumes.

I showed Tournier how to use collodian to give himself a nice scar.

Our leading lady is still in Texas.....but her two daughters (the director's granddaughters) are running the sound board and the light board.....that went about as well as could be expected.

Is this a family production in the style of Angelina Jolie being a producer on the show THE OUTSIDERS and her daughter being an assistant on the show?

I have been engrossed in Master Slave Husband Wife, which won the Pulitzer for biography this year. It's the story of a couple who make a daring escape from slavery, end up in Boston and face being caught again.

I gather they were not captured again.

I don’t know. I have about a quarter of the book left. It’s interesting in that it’s written like a narrative, but all quotes are taken from documents. It’s less strict than journalism, where everything is cited immediately. These are left to footnotes at the end.

*I think I saw that we were back up to $3.25 yesterday, so who knows what today will bring.

Ours was higher until yesterday. It dropped about 20 cents to $2.99

The last time I filled up my tank, I had a 35¢/gallon discount because of the Fred Meyer Rewards' gas points, and it brought the price down to $3.71⁹.
