During my brief bit of insomnia last night, I read a chapter of Mary Poppins in the Park. Michael Banks has a wish granted and ends up on a star populated with cats. He's offered a treat, but doesn't like the choices: dead rat, bat or raw fish. Very amusing.

The good news is that even in the bit of rain we're having - the gentlemen are laying rebar and pouring cement at my driveway entrance.....so that's a start.

I went out to say thanks and they saw me walking two blocks with my groceries, so perhaps they are taking pity on Grandpa McCoy.
