She's only "hot" because she's wearing so much fur.

My DH was an acquaintance. They were funny together, as he is 6'3", and I'm not sure if she was even 5 feet tall.

I spent the last two hours making pasta sauce. I'm getting old. I forgot to wash the two green peppers I chopped up. If I am found dead from poisoning, you now know what did it.

I spent the past two days revising that damned first chapter of Annabelle & Thatch. The publisher hated the last draft, DR John G hated about ten different drafts of it, and I finally figured out the Big Problem: too many gripes, too much autobiography. If it isn't right yet, it's very close. The final version is six pages; the draft I submitted in January was 11 pages.

The newly revised computer is back at its usual stand....as is the old one....

Now if I could only get the printer to connect.....that may have to wait for another day.

I really enjoyed The Tempest last night. The last time I saw it live, the Prospero could not remember a single one of his many monologues, so it was rather painful.

Oh, no!  That's terrible about the last Prospero you saw. :-\

While I was working at The Drama Book Shop, my friend Joseph Weiss, who sadly died this year, recommended me - because he was such a fan of my Jubilee work - to Don Pippin to orchestrate the Nymph Errant concert he was planning. Jubilee was written in 1935, and Nymph Errant was 1934. Well, I had a lovely phone call from Don Pippin, I thought I had the job, and he told me that he was off to London to finalize plans and that he would call when he returned. Well, he didn't. That concert and CD were scored by the wonderful Jim Tyler, who had orchestrated La Cage aux Folles for Pippin. I don't believe I ever spoke to Don after that.

How rude!

Before the show. I said to myself, I don't care if it's a woman playing the role, just let the actor know the lines. Well, it was a Prospero, and she was great.

My friend pug played Prospera in a Star Trek-inspired production.  It actually worked really well, except for one actor who was totally in another show. ::) His "interpretation" of whatever character he played (I forget which) was so over the top that it and he were just distracting.  It was really weird.

Chandos has announced John Wilson's next complete recording. I 've been waiting years for this to happen.

:( Did he do that throughout the run of the production, or did they adjust his approach at some point?

The actor decided that that was his interpretation and no one could make him change it.
