The LL just announced that she will be at the theeder at 6 p.m. if anyone wants to join her for her pre-show meditation routine.....she learned it on YouTube.

I have to laugh, DR Jrand73; she is such a compleat ass.

DR Jrand73, have we had any photographic evidence yet? Because God forbid I should have missed it. Please advise.

Yes DR FREDDIE it did go well.  The audience was more enthusiastic and the director made a very good decision.....

Some of the scene changes in the dark were dragging a bit....so she changed from black out - scene change - lights up to black out - lights up - scene change.....since the stage crew are all dressed in Pink Panther costumes, the audience enjoyed watching their antics....

That's a great idea, Jrand.  What also can help is some kind (ANY kind) of music during the scene changes, especially if they take long. ::)

I'm up, I'm up - just about ten hours of good sleep despite waking up at two after ninety minutes with an upset stomach. I took some Pepcid, was up for an hour, and then fell right back asleep.

The newly revised computer is back at its usual stand....as is the old one....

Now if I could only get the printer to connect.....that may have to wait for another day.

Good on the computer news, connecting with the printer vibes

Celebrate by listening to a barbershop quartet sing a song about franks n' beans.

I used to be in a barbershop chorus...but we never sang a song about franks n' beans.

So, Jane sent me this text:

When you get a chance, will you please post this for Laura. It reminds me of the tacky carpets she loves, only worse.  This is the tile in our hotel room. The photo is the view facing our shower.

The show started right on time at 8 pm. Just Judy Collins with her 12string guitar, and an accompanist on a grand piano

That's great, Vixmom!

It as well work the two hour drive out

I've been fortunate to see her perform where I usually usher, so it's only a 15 minute drive. :)

Dr. Ruth had died, at age 96.

Oh, no!  But 96...who'da thunk it?

My DH was an acquaintance. They were funny together, as he is 6'3", and I'm not sure if she was even 5 feet tall.

That's pretty cool!

DR GEORGE scene change music is used.....but sitting in the dark can be annoying....if the wait is long.....

My brother-in-law said he grew up in Kansas City. I asked if it were up to date. He didn’t know what I was talking about. My sister didn’t either.

I am in the wrong family.
