Chose the new song, had to rearrange the order to put another song for the opening, which screwed up the two songs where it used to be so had to switch the order there. Should work now.

I also found out why the kid had to drop out - for some horrible "new" musical that is clearly and blatantly a rip-off wannabe Dear Evan Hansen - they have a website - the songs are awful, IMO, it's by two people you never heard of, I can't imagine they're paying people to do their demo recording, but she has to miss our show not for the recording but for some promo video they're doing. Two writers I've never heard of and a show in which the characters have epilepsy and various learning disorders.

In other news, tonight's my night at the outdoor theeder seeing Beauty and the Beast (known in some circles as BATB).

At least the weather is once again pretty wonderful. It'll be in the 70s then, which will feel cool after what we've been having, so I'll take a jacket.

I first liked Christopher Plummer in Stagestruck - a remake of Morning Glory in which Susan Strasberg proved she was incapable of playing a young actress of some talent....and I was disappointed when her character ended up with Henry Fonda instead of Christopher Plummer.
