I also found out why the kid had to drop out - for some horrible "new" musical that is clearly and blatantly a rip-off wannabe Dear Evan Hansen - they have a website - the songs are awful, IMO, it's by two people you never heard of, I can't imagine they're paying people to do their demo recording, but she has to miss our show not for the recording but for some promo video they're doing. Two writers I've never heard of and a show in which the characters have epilepsy and various learning disorders.

We had some unexpected rain this morning. It's a good thing I was outside, or I would have missed it. A whole four minutes.

I bet it was a lovely four minutes.

More-rain vibes for Laura's area, too!

Just finished training to be a bar exam proctor.

Wait, is this an exam for lawyers or bartenders? Or both?

Naturally, Doug can't adjust the postage until he returns from Florida on the 28th. So, here's what I'll offer - if you want to save four bucks on postage, just order now. He'll change it when he gets back, so this is a good opportunity to save four bucks. http://kritzerland.com/benjamink.htm

The narrator of the audiobook I’m listening to says “argle bargle,” a favorite term, is pronounced “ar-jel bar-jel.” No. Just no.

"bureaucratic argle-bargle"
2.
another term for argy-bargy.

Argy bargy is pronounced ar-jee bar-jee. Maybe that’s what the narrator was saying
