The announcer at the airport in this movie says Los Angeles with a hard G, as if it were angle. And the narrator says LaGuardia as if it were guard.

There's a local theater company named Harlequin Productions.  It's always been pronounced "HAR-luh-kwin," but a couple of WCPA volunteers pronounce it "HAR-luh-kin."

I also have them put on "the juices" (I hate that phrase in this context) before they put on the tomatoes.

That way it gets into the lettuce and isn't just splashed all over the place because of the flat tomatoes.

I was at my mom's this afternoon (before going to Jersey Mike's) to cut down some limbs of her rhodie bushes.

My mom planted them not to long after we moved here in 1976, and there were some fairly thick limbs.
